Spider Ball Python
The spider is about as perfect a ball python
mutation as you can imagine. A beautifully intricate
"spider-webbed" pattern, pied-white sides, crazy head
markings and pale green eyes make the spider an
absolutely beautiful snake. In addition to their
great looks, spiders are also known for their ravenous
appetites and active libidos.
The spiders were
proven genetic in 1999. Kevin McCurley introduced us to
this spectacular dominant morph as well as a myriad of
"designer spiders". My personal favorites are the
bumblebees{spider X pastel} and the honey bees{spider
X orange ghost}. I produced my first spider clutch in
2004, and look forward to producing many more spiders
and spider crosses in the coming years. The spider is
an absolute MUST for anyone interested in working with
ball python morphs.
